Full speed ahead!
As part of a broad modernization program, Poland's railway network is being upgraded with a state-of-the-art embedded control system custom-designed to meet stringent international safety standards.
The common-core modular design of these connectors allows for a wide variety of configurations, providing IP20 to IP65/67 protection. The sockets utilize insulator displacement contacts, enabling fast and reliable tool-less field termination of solid conductors or stranded wires.
The new models exceed the requirements of EIA/TIA-568B and IEC 60603-7-1 for Category 5e performance. The sockets are available in four-position configurations for speeds up to 100 Mbps and eight-position configurations for speeds up to 1000 Mbps.
A UL 94V-0 quick-change ferrule and a positive ring locking system, compliant with IEC 61076-3-106 Version 1, help create reliable connections in harsh environments.
Additional features include UV-resistant silicone gaskets, protective caps for unconnected connectors, and an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C.
