Profitrace is the PC software that controls Proficore when Proficore is being used for Profibus analysis. It allows you to create a table of active stations on the Profibus bus in 2 seconds.Characteristics:
- Indication of active slaves.
- Indication of active teachers.
- List of data frames communicated over Profibus with indication of: Time, Stations involved: Source & Destination, SAPs, Frame type Command Response, Frame data, …
- You can filter the capture or the capture analysis to avoid seeing unimportant frames.
- You can save the captures to files.
- You can export the captures to other file formats such as CSV.
- You can share the screenshots with experts and device manufacturers for Profibus, - if something is not working correctly.
Proficore Ultra for Profibus:
This hardware is required to connect a PC to Profibus via a USB port. It allows you to capture absolutely all data frames (including token passing) transmitted over Profibus, with real-time data in microseconds or bittimes.
Proficore also allows capturing data in a loop buffer and stopping frame capture with a logical condition ("trigger") expressed by a very complex logical equation. This enables the capture and detection of anomalies and the identification of the component responsible for the anomaly in Profibus communication.
Proficore Ultra is the second generation of Proficore and features more advanced hardware functions such as high-frequency Profibus signal sampling for analysis with ScopeWare software (digital oscilloscope).
