This metal-enclosed switch with an IP30 protection rating features internal PoE power that generates 48 VDC PoE directly from its 24 VDC power supply. It also provides the galvanic isolation required by regulations. Compatible network devices can be powered by the switch through the data cable, eliminating the need for separate power lines. This allows for easy and flexible data network planning.
This new switch is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard and can power compatible end-user devices such as IP phones, small hubs, cameras, or wireless transmission devices like WLAN or Bluetooth access points with up to 15.4 W (12.95 W on the terminal side) using phantom power.
The SPIDER II 8TX can operate in a temperature range of -10°C to +60°C.
