Based on ITU-T Y.1564 and RFC 6349 standards, iSAM is a fully automated testing application that enables significantly simpler and more accurate testing of all Ethernet services from GigE to 100 GigE, as well as end-to-end validation of Layer 4 and Layer 2/3 TCP services. iSAM uses a simple three-step approach to eliminate the complexity of validating and activating Ethernet services, thereby reducing testing times by a factor of 10 compared to today's typical testing methodologies. This allows operators to drastically reduce operating expenses while accelerating time to revenue. Furthermore, iSAM offers repeatable and consistent testing processes, eliminating human error and delivering 100% correct results the first time.
