The BradCommunications SST module for PROFIBUS connects your Allen-Bradley ControlLogix controller to a PROFIBUS DP network, either as:
o Master to control slave devices in PROFIBUS DP, or
o Slave to emulate a slave device in PROFIBUS DP.
The new card has more data storage: 1984 bytes of input and 1968 bytes of output. This makes the PROFIBUS DP module a cost-effective solution for deploying ControlLogix CPUs in large PROFIBUS DP networks.

The Remote Link Library software adds functionality to the BradCommunications SST Profibus card, enabling remote monitoring and downloading of Profibus configuration changes to the SST-PFB-CLX-RLL card via Rockwell Automation® RSLinx software over Ethernet and the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix rack bus.
The Profibus DP master can be used in a local rack or a remote rack via CIP networks using EtherNet/IP or ControlNet.
