This programmable logic controller (PLC) features an Ethernet port, two RS-485 and RS-232C ports, and 16 integrated digital inputs and 16 digital outputs (NPN), expandable to up to 256 I/O points. Programming is performed via the front USB port, RS-485 or RS-232C communication, or Ethernet (Modbus TCP and Ethernet IP), enabling remote programming.
The XBM-H has a compact design (42mm wide), a processing speed of 83ns/step and a program capacity of 20 ksteps, with integrated functions of RTC, HSC 100KHz fast counting (4 channels), input filter and 100Kpps positioning (2 axes), among others.
The XBM-H model is compatible with the wide range of expansion modules in the XGB series (supporting up to 7, two of which are high-speed) for both digital and analog communication (RAPIEnet, CANopen, Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, Rnet, EtherCAT). The XBM-H allows integrated control of two servomotors via pulse positioning and up to 16 servomotors through two optional EtherCAT expansion modules.
As with the rest of the LS Industrial Systems PLC range, the XG5000 configuration software is free.
