To prevent outages when the device crashes and suddenly shuts down, the AIG series has built-in recovery capabilities to revert to the previous stable firmware version, ensuring uninterrupted network connectivity at remote sites. In the event of a software update failure, the gateways will automatically revert to the backup software version, thus ensuring system stability. A ThingsPro tool simplifies the provisioning process by facilitating bulk provisioning of IIoT gateways and remote software updates.
