New Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connectivity features for the AVM smart digital home
AVM has unveiled its new smart home products for residential consumers. The flagship product is the FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber, a new router compatible with all standard European fiber optic connections and capable of speeds up to 10 gigabits per second.
Also available is the FRITZ!Box 6690 router, a new premium model designed for wired internet connections, equipped with Wi-Fi 6 (4x4) and 2.5 gigabit LAN. For DSL connections, there's the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX, which takes full advantage of this type of connectivity thanks to 35b super vectoring and Wi-Fi 6.
Finally, with the FRITZ!Box 4060, AVM presents a tri-band wireless router compatible with Wi-Fi 6, ideal for browsing with a fiber optic or cable modem. Furthermore, this wireless router is the first in its category to incorporate an integrated DECT switchboard, enabling the use of smart home devices and telephones.
FRITZ!Box 6850 5G, router to enjoy 5G in the digital home
As 5G coverage rolls out to more cities across Europe, users are beginning to experience the incredible speed of this new mobile network standard on their compatible devices. Now they can do so at home too with the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G, a versatile all-in-one home network router that works with all European 5G networks.
With fast Wi-Fi, gigabit LAN connection and a base station for telephony and Smart Home, the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G It offers all the power and convenience of a wireless router, without the need for a fiber optic connection. It's also ideal for second homes and digital nomads who work in different locations. It works with 5G and 3G/4G networks.
Meanwhile, the FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX is the most compact Wi-Fi repeater in the range. Its compact size and easy installation allow you to place it anywhere there's a power outlet to quickly and easily extend your wireless coverage. The FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX's WPS setup and WPA2 security encryption ensure it's ready to use in just one minute, providing maximum protection for your home wireless network.
All routers and routers offered by AVM are compatible with Wi-Fi Mesh, which allows you to combine multiple wireless access points into a smart mesh network to increase Wi-Fi range and quality throughout your home. This lets you browse the internet wirelessly in every corner, as if it were a single, continuous network.
