To help you manage and control multiple geographically distributed servers from a remote console, a separate single-port power switch allows you to manage the power supply to a server or installation connected locally to the KN1000. This enables you to power on, power off, or restart your servers. Additionally, you can connect a PON (Power Over the Net™) power supply unit to manage the power supply to even more devices. The KN1000 also allows remote control of serial console devices (such as a network switch) from a serial console via the internet.

The KN1000's virtual media function lets you perform diagnostic tests, transfer files, and install operating system or application patches from a remote console. And for data read tasks, there's no need to insert a CD directly into the server. Efficiently locate and resolve BIOS-level issues from anywhere.

The system includes a Windows client application and a Java application with graphical interfaces for administration via a web browser or directly under Windows. These are designed for IP connections and can be accessed from anywhere on the network. Thanks to the Java client, the KN1000 is completely platform-independent and therefore compatible with virtually all operating systems.

All these advanced features contribute to making the KN1000 the fastest, most reliable and best value for money way to remotely access geographically distributed installations, such as dispensers or ATMs.
