The heart of the set is the FRITZ!Box 4060, a tri-band router equipped with Wi-Fi 6 that operates on one 2.4 GHz band and two 5 GHz bands. This configuration allows for efficient network management, ensuring that all devices receive the best available signal. The FRITZ!Box 4060 is also backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi versions, making it easy to seamlessly integrate older devices into the network, even if they use older protocols.
In terms of connectivity, the FRITZ!Box 4060 features a 2.5-inch Gigabit WAN port, three Gigabit LAN ports, and a USB 3.0 port, offering a wide range of options for connecting storage devices, printers, and other peripherals. Furthermore, its WAN port allows connection to any fiber optic terminal or mobile broadband modem.
Regarding security, the FRITZ!Box 4060 comes pre-configured with an integrated firewall and a Wi-Fi network protected with a unique key, providing an additional layer of protection for your home or office network. The guest access feature allows you to offer internet access to visitors without compromising the security of your main network.
Equipped with a DECT base, it can manage up to six cordless phones and offers advanced features such as answering machines and phonebook synchronization. Compatibility with home automation devices, both from the FRITZ! family and other manufacturers, allows for the integration and control of lights, plugs, and thermostats via the network.
FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX, Wi-Fi repeater for maximum coverage.
Complementing the FRITZ!Box 4060 is the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX Wi-Fi repeater. It integrates seamlessly into your network using WPS technology, enabling quick setup with just the touch of a button. The FRITZ!Repeater adopts the existing wireless network settings and starts working immediately. LED indicators and the free FRITZ!App WLAN help you determine the best location for the repeater.
With three radio units, the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX Wi-Fi extender expands your Wi-Fi network coverage, ensuring a stable, high-speed connection throughout your home or office. The extender also features two Gigabit LAN ports, allowing for direct wired connection of network devices such as shared printers or NAS systems.
