Teldat RS123 corporate routers that combine fiber, Ethernet, 4G and WLAN
Teldat has launched a new advanced IP communications solution for SMEs, through its RS123 router family. These devices are specifically designed for remote offices and incorporate various types of interfaces. They combine the two most popular access methods, Ethernet and Fiber, along with 4G connectivity as an automatic backup for the main line.
The RS123 routers also cover the main connectivity requirements for an office, including a combo port for fiber and Ethernet with LTE redundancy, a built-in 4-port 10/100/1000 motherboard switch, an internal access point, and the ability to act as a controller for external access points. Additionally, they feature a console port for out-of-band management. They also incorporate advanced encryption and security using IPSec VPNs.
The RS123 series features a cost-optimized design and, with its various models, can perfectly adapt to the requirements of an average office. It boasts a powerful hardware architecture that enables symmetrical speeds of up to 200 Mbps with services enabled. It includes all the functionalities expected of a professional router, such as routing, security, quality of service, and management.
These new router models share the operating system of the hundreds of thousands of Teldat devices deployed by its customers in the most demanding environments worldwide. This provides a competitive advantage by minimizing the effort required from service providers to integrate them into their portfolios. Although designed for SMEs, the Teldat RS123 routers are optimized for the managed services offered by operators to this type of business. Furthermore, they can be centrally managed using the Cloud NetManager tool, allowing for optimized and simplified network deployments for customers.
