This model from the Evolant® range, which offers excellent cable retention and ample space for buffer tube storage, can be installed with any cable jacket and is ideal for underground, overhead, and conduit applications.

Thanks to its compact design, the UCAO MFT 7 weatherproof box is the perfect solution for connecting a small number of distribution cables. Its easy opening and closing also facilitates work with access networks.

The box body consists of two plastic covers (IP68) designed to withstand all weather conditions. The intersection of these two halves is sealed with reusable silicone.

The box also features a hinge on the top and five stainless steel and plastic tensioners on the bottom. The lower part of the cover can accommodate between two and seven MFT splice trays for quick and easy access. Furthermore, buffer tubes can be installed directly in the trays.

With the help of an optional buffer adapter, the fibers in one tube can be separated and distributed into different tubes. Alternatively, fibers from different tubes can be combined into one. Each MFT tray has four buffer tube inlets and can accommodate up to 24 splices.

To provide the best possible support, C3 and Corning also offer a kit with all the necessary components for installing these watertight boxes, including fiber management equipment.
