It allows the input/output of up to 3 fiber optic cables (FOPT 64 version) and 4 fiber optic cables (FOPT 128 version). These boxes are manufactured from fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate and stainless steel components. Their perfect watertightness (immersion in water at a depth of 60 cm for 48 hours at room temperature) is achieved through rubber seals at the cable entry points and an O-ring mounted around the base of the box, which fits perfectly with its lid (IP68w).
The watertightness and resistance levels achieved in the tests performed and described below ensure the perfect condition of the splices throughout the cable's lifespan.
This allows for outdoor installation, either directly buried or mounted on a wall/pole, as it has the necessary mounting holes. It includes clips for leaving fibers in the path, making it suitable for cable segregation.
Approximate weight: 3 kg (FOPT 64 version) and 5.5 kg (FOPT 128 version).
The rubber seals mounted on the box's entry/exit ports allow the use of cables from 14.5 to 16.3 mm in diameter or multiple entries (FOPT 64 version) and from 14.5 to 19.5 mm in diameter or multiple entries (FOPT 128 version).
The cover is secured to the base with 13 screws (FOPT 64 version) and 16 screws (FOPT 128 version).
The trays are removable and hinged 90°, facilitating individual handling.
Each tray has a storage disc with a retractable flap (4 units), which ensures the minimum fiber bend radius, and 4 splice organizers, each with a capacity for 4 splices. These organizers are designed to hold the splice protectors with a simple push. Finally, the trays are closed with a cover of the same color and material.
