These loosely constructed cables of the unit-tube or multi-tube type (gel-filled) have fiberglass reinforced (FRP) rods embedded in the outer sheath to withstand high tensile loads.
Each unit consists of these FRP rods as traction elements, 48, 72 or 144 optical fibers distributed in flexible, easy-to-peel microtubes and have a black LSZH outer covering.
The FLEXIBLETUBE range guarantees fire resistance by being classified with euroclasses up to Fca (CPR) and complying with IEC 60754-1/-2 (absence of halogens), IEC 61034-2 (low smoke emission) and IEC 60332-1 (non propagation of flame) standards.
Both fibers and microtubes can be color-coded. This is the FRT code: red – blue – green – yellow – violet – white – orange – gray – brown – black – turquoise – pink.
