ADVENTUM™ Fire Survival is an indoor cable designed to ensure the transmission of critical data during fire emergencies. Meeting IEC60331-25 flammability standards, this model can maintain circuit integrity for 90 minutes (PH90 – EN50200) under extreme conditions, making it indispensable for large public buildings and critical infrastructure.
For their part, ADVENTUM™ RailSafe cables exceed comprehensive standards, including the London Underground's LUL S-1085 specification. Therefore, they can be adapted to underground rail networks, stations, tunnels, and trackside conduits.
These cables are manufactured at Leviton's UK factory and are part of the ongoing expansion of the ADVENTUM™ family, which benefits from the brand's advantages. In this case, the central dry conduit simplifies the installation of structures with moisture-resistant gel, while the addition of high-strength corrugated steel tape armor provides exceptional protection against external factors, such as mechanical impacts, rodent damage, or environmental elements.

"With innovations on the horizon, we look forward to delivering more ADVENTUM™ advancements, all manufactured using 100% renewable energy in our carbon-neutral, UK-based facility," says Michael Lawrence, Product Manager at Leviton Network Solutions Europe.

Key Features and Benefits of Fire Survival
• 2 to 24 fiber capacity: color-coded according to TIA-598-D.
• Bend-resistant fiber, standard: single-mode, OM3, OM4, and OM5 versions to suit multiple applications.
• Gel-free dry tube core cable construction to reduce termination time and eliminate the need for solvents.
• Fiberglass yarns: high-strength yarns to ensure tensile strength.
• Corrugated steel tape armor for increased mechanical resistance to crushing and impact, and rodent protection.
• Enhanced halogen-free low smoke flame retardant (HFFR-LS) jacket (red, UV-stable, standard).
Key Features and Benefits of RailSafe
• Euroclass Cca s1a d0 a1 meeting Euroclass requirements and LUL S-1085 toxicity.
• 2 to 24 fibers: color-coded according to TIA-598-D.
• Bend-insensitive fiber, standard: single-mode, OM3, OM4, and OM5 versions to suit a wide variety of applications.
• Water-blocking dry center tube design to prevent moisture ingress along the entire length of the tube.
• Fiberglass yarns: high-strength yarns to ensure tensile strength.
• Corrugated steel tape armor for superior mechanical resistance to crushing and impact, and rodent protection.
• Enhanced low-smoke, flame-retardant, halogen-free jacket (HFFR-LS - UV-stable standard).
• Indoor/outdoor design eliminates the need to switch from an outdoor to an indoor cable at the entrance installation.
• CE marked for CPR.

Key Features and Benefits of ADVENTUM:
Faster and Easier Installation
• "Cabinet-to-cabinet" installation eliminates the need for transition point terminations and system grounding requirements.
• Fewer consumables are required for fiber cleaning, and fiber preparation time is reduced (no gel).
• A lighter cable reduces load stresses on trays and offers greater deployment flexibility.
Lower Carbon Footprint
• The absence of gel and cleaning equipment makes the cable more environmentally friendly.
Flexible Fiber Count
• Available with varying fiber counts, it allows organizations to effectively meet both low- and high-density backbone cabling needs.
• Water-blocking dry cable cores, standard UV-rated jacket, and operating temperatures as low as -40°C make these cables suitable for outdoor applications.
