UNICAM Type: Manufactured by Corning, and available in ST, SC, and LC types; this connector model requires a simple kit of specific tools for assembly, the use of which allows for a continuity test that guarantees proper termination. See the assembly video .
KeyQuick Type: Included in the Brand-Rex catalog and available in SC type (APC and UPC polished), for MM or SM fibers, it requires no fusion splicer or adhesive and features a visual finish verification system. See the illustrative assembly video.
Type WQAC: This model corresponds to the COFITEL program and is available in SC/UPC and SC/APC versions for SM optical fibers. Its simple assembly technique and cost-effectiveness allow its use with both loose-tube (250 µm) and tight-tube (900 µm) fiber. See the assembly video.
All these connectors have pre-terminated ferrules, with the required type of fiber and polishing (UPC or APC) of the necessary type, so it will be necessary to select them appropriately for each application.
