The LC UTS connector offers installers a fiber optic solution that requires no special training or tools and does not need specialized fiber optic equipment to implement technologies such as FTTA (Fiber to the Antenna).
Unlike most other solutions, which use proprietary LC contacts, the UTS LC features a design compatible with all standardized LC contacts. Customers can source LC connectors from anywhere without being tied to a specific supplier, simplifying logistics and reducing total procurement costs.
The UTS LC incorporates a waterproof, IP68/IP69K sealing system for dynamic connections.
The UTS LC features the ergonomic locking mechanism characteristic of the UTS range: a 1/3-turn bayonet lock that provides an audible and tactile click to confirm proper connection. It is guaranteed for 250 connections and disconnections.
The UTS LC withstands 500 hours of salt spray, is UV resistant, and is not susceptible to mechanical damage or significant discoloration after 5 years of exposure to the elements (ISO 4892).
