The DigiLoc 110 is a module for SYS DC laser diode excitation systems. Its core capabilities include multi-channel oscilloscope functionality, laser frequency control and frequency scanning, two integrated PID controllers (e.g., for piezo feedback and laser current), a timing regulator, and Pound-Driver-Hall stabilization, Click&Lock, Detection-Lock, Auto-Lock, and Relock. Controller parameter simulation and network analysis are among the key features of this device.
The FPGA-based hardware makes the DigiLoc both flexible and very fast, enabling its implementation in a wide range of applications. The unit offers numerous inputs and outputs, a sampling rate of up to 100 MHz, and a precision of up to 21 bits to perfectly suit user needs. With a delay time as low as 200 ns, its synchronization bandwidth is several MHz and an FPGA-controlled analog bypass allows for high uniform bandwidths, e.g. for laser beam width reduction.
