The FTTA Smart Probe, with its compact and ergonomic design (suitable for both right- and left-handed users), integrates a WiFi transmitter for connecting to terminals and a high-resolution CMOS sensor, enabling 960 x 544 pixel images with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The probe also stands out for its ability to visualize MT/MPO connectors.
Additional features include probes for inspecting virtually all types of single-mode and multi-mode connectors and patch cables (LC, SC, FC, ST, DIN, and MPO), and a three-hour battery life (using two BL-5C rechargeable batteries).
The app for Android smartphones and tablets, available for download on Google Play, includes functions such as digital zoom and instant capture.
The COFITEL Group will be exhibiting at MATELEC 2014 to showcase this smart probe and the rest of its extensive product catalog.
