From now on, Corning will be responsible for manufacturing the optical fiber for Jelp, which will be in charge of carrying out the necessary installations. This is not a one-off project; rather, the two companies are signing a strategic alliance that will bring significant benefits for years to come.
Both Corning and Jelp are members of Silicon Alley Madrid, an association of technology companies that seeks to create an active and participatory business community that facilitates support and interaction among its members, generating synergies, initiatives, actions and developments that bring added value to the Community of Madrid.
Following the signing of the agreement, Andrés García, Sales Director for Southern Europe at Corning, emphasized that having a partner like Jelp “is great news. It’s not easy to find a company that works well with fiber optics, and with Jelp we reduce any potential problems.”.
For his part, Pablo Díaz, Commercial Director of Jelp, stated that “it is always important to have such a prestigious manufacturer as Corning. Without a doubt, it is one of the leading brands in the creation of fiber optic glass, and for us, it is reassuring to offer a quality material.”.
