Users will also be able to obtain 5G satellite connectivity for just 1 euro per device per month with the same standard device and a SIM card from a mobile network operator (MNO) or mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) of their choice.
Sateliot has so far reached agreements with more than 50 mobile and mobile virtual network operators, who will enjoy the advantages of rapid integration with Sateliot's Non-Terrestrial Network through Comfone technology.
Furthermore, as a full member of the GSMA, Sateliot is able to sign standard roaming agreements with any telecommunications operator. Considering these two factors, mobile network operators and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) will be able to increase their average revenue per user by enabling NB-IoT satellite access for their existing customers.
Starting in 2024, Sateliot will serve a customer portfolio valued at 1 billion euros, made up of more than 500 companies from 30 countries that applied to participate in its Early Adopter Program.
Sateliot and Comfone have reached an agreement that will allow more than 480 mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) worldwide to connect to Sateliot's 5G IoT-NB nanosatellite constellation via a standard roaming agreement, paving the way for the mass adoption of IoT anywhere on the planet. Under this agreement, IoT device users will be able to send and receive 5G data anywhere in the world, regardless of the SIM card they are using, directly from Sateliot's cell towers and non-terrestrial network (NTN).
