Founded in 2005, SIMFOR has over two decades of experience developing simulators for driving military vehicles, transporting people and goods, and operating machinery. Its systems are primarily designed for training and evaluating professionals in controlled environments.
The integration will allow these simulation technologies to be combined with other areas of Zelenza's development, including engineering, command and control systems, communications, artificial intelligence and unmanned systems.
Virtual environments for training and assessment
One of the planned lines for the new division will be the progressive development of synthetic environments capable of virtually representing different operational scenarios.
These systems can be used to train procedures, rehearse missions, and evaluate decision-making in situations that would be complex, costly, or risky to reproduce under real-life conditions.
Virtual scenarios also allow exercises to be repeated under controlled conditions, facilitating the comparison of results and the evaluation of performance.
The development of these environments includes applications in land, naval and air scenarios, expanding the use of simulation within the training and preparation processes of the Armed Forces and security forces.
### Artificial intelligence and unmanned systems
The integration of artificial intelligence, communications, and unmanned systems technologies also opens up the possibility of developing more complex training scenarios.
Simulation can be used to recreate the interaction between people, vehicles, autonomous systems, and various communications and command and control infrastructures. In this way, virtual environments can serve both for individual training and for exercises involving different teams and systems.
This type of platform also allows for the evaluation of procedures and decisions before transferring them to field exercises, reducing the need to use certain physical resources during the early stages of training.
Continuity of civil applications
SIMFOR will continue to develop its solutions for civil sectors, including mobility, airport operations and heavy machinery.
Simulation applied to these areas allows for the reproduction of operational situations and the training of professionals in the handling of vehicles or machinery without the need to carry out all the practices directly on real equipment.
These applications can be especially useful for practicing infrequent procedures, emergency situations, or maneuvers that present greater risks or costs when performed under real conditions.
The addition of SIMFOR thus expands Zelenza's capabilities in simulation and training technologies, incorporating synthetic environments as a new area of activity alongside its developments in engineering, communications, artificial intelligence, command and control and unmanned systems.
