At this fourth edition of the IoT Solutions World Congress, Advantech, together with its Eco Partners, will present the latest solutions to help various industrial sectors increase their productivity.
For example:
• Advantech and software developer Nexiona SRL will present the first standalone platform for the IoT market. This platform, which combines Nexiona's MIIMETIQ LITE application and Advantech's ARK-1123 Embedded Gateway, will appeal to data-conscious industrial customers who want to add their own IoT technology in a manageable and phased way.
• In addition, a charging station for a battery-powered Tesla Mini will be set up at the Advantech booth. The demonstration charging station is connected to a smart meter used at a real Tesla charging station in northern Taiwan. The smart meter is, in turn, connected to an Advantech UBC-330 Mbed-edge gateway managed by Mbed Cloud, just as it would be in a real-world installation.
• In collaboration with Ardexa, a company specializing in device management and security, Advantech will showcase a benchmark program that provides secure data connections, remote control, processing, and on-site service tools to more than 150 power plants for one of Europe's largest renewable energy managers. Visitors will see how Advantech helps lay the foundation for the dynamic production, storage, and distribution of green energy.
• In the area of healthcare, Advantech will unveil the WellPoint self-diagnostic terminal for patients in collaboration with BeWell Innovations. The WellPoint terminal allows individuals to independently measure their own vital signs at a self-service point and sends the results to medical staff. This frees up caregivers' time to focus on more critical tasks. This terminal can also be valuable in communities where access to a medical facility is more difficult.
• In conjunction with BTI, a worker safety solution will be presented. In sectors such as mining, oil and gas, manufacturing and construction, as well as public services like firefighting, worker protection is of paramount importance and presents a constant challenge. This new solution is based on an end-to-end, ready-to-use IoT architecture for worker health and safety monitoring. It incorporates BTI's MIOTY™ LPWAN technology, Advantech gateways with Intel Core i5 processors, and Hitachi's Solutions IoT Service Hub hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud.
Advantech and Sioux LIME will be showcasing Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Systems solutions. We will demonstrate how we bring machine learning to the high-tech sector by developing and manufacturing non-standard solutions for systems and processes. https://www.sioux.eu/en/markets/
Finally, Advantech and Geprom are attending IOTSWC together to showcase their IoT manufacturing solutions. We are presenting the innovative Legato Sapient, a flexible, scalable, and modular MES system for real-time production control. Legato plans, controls, and monitors all production process information in real time. The system has more than 24 independent units implemented according to customer needs. The collected data is processed and stored in real time and converted into a customized report for analysis and decision-making. http://www.geprom.com/geprom-lleva-sus-soluciones-al-iot-solutions-world-congress-2018/
With its global presence, Advantech is currently the world's leading industrial IoT partner. The company was the first to conceptualize co-creation as the way to approach the IoT market. Thanks to its powerful hardware platform base, the company has been actively promoting the co-creation model, working with SRP software providers and systems integrators to build a complete supply chain for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and accelerate the development of related applications.
IIoT applications are about to be widely implemented in various sectors; however, the key to success lies with technology providers like Advantech and their ability to work closely with industry professionals to integrate and form standardized and easily duplicated SRPs from a combination of software and hardware products.
Advantech is already co-creating Solution-Ready Packages (SRPs) to help customers gain significant traction in the IoT market. As part of these co-creation initiatives with various national and international companies, approximately 30 SRPs will be officially launched by the end of this year. Informative presentations and engaging discussions will be offered during the company's IoT Co-Creation Summit, taking place in early November in Suzhou, China. Ultimately, the event is poised to be an excellent platform for showcasing services and connecting with leading solution providers in the industry.
