This ongoing collaboration allows Bureau Veritas to deal with a wide range of test cases for RF and radio demodulation resource management (RRM) validated by the Global Certification Forum (GCF) and PTCRB.

“We are pleased to expand our close collaboration with Keysight, a leading 5G technology company, to better serve a global market of wireless device manufacturers,” commented Nicolas Girard, Vice President of the Electrical & Electronics, Automotive, and Wireless Systems business at Bureau Veritas in Greater China. “Keysight’s end-to-end 5G testing solutions enable Bureau Veritas to offer 5G solutions to our existing mobile and ICT customers. However, we will also proactively support customers across various industries, such as automotive, healthcare, primary sector, and agriculture, who are adapting their products to 5G connectivity.”
These ecosystems, comprised of mobile operators, device manufacturers, and testing laboratories, use Keysight’s 5G network emulation solutions to address 5G testing requirements, accelerating the global certification of multimode 5G devices in various form factors. By using similar testing tools and test cases across the entire ecosystem, users can achieve rapid device performance validation and consistent results.

“We are very pleased that Bureau Veritas has chosen us for their 5G device certification needs,” said Kailash Narayanan, Vice President and General Manager of Keysight’s Wireless Testing team. “Their confidence in our solutions is reflected in the fact that Keysight is the leader in 5G conformance testing, supporting their electronics, electrical, and wireless labs worldwide.”
Keysight’s 5G network emulation solutions enable mobile operators, chip and device manufacturers, and testing labs to validate new devices at any stage of the workflow, from early design to manufacturing, in both sub-6GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2) frequency bands. The solution suite leverages the company’s UXM 5G Wireless Platform to provide early access to a wider range of GCF- and PTCRB -validated 5G NR-compliant RF test cases and protocols on a common platform. Keysight offers end-to-end and over-the-air (OTA) testing solutions by combining its 5G network emulation solutions with its Compact Range Antenna Test (CATR) cameras to enable normative radio frequency (RF) testing of 5G mobile devices in both conducted and radiated test environments at Frequency 1 (FR1) and FR2 (mmWave).
