DEKRA recently announced plans to expand its services to include testing and certifying the performance and security of 5G devices according to regulatory and 3GPP standards. Keysight's 5G testing solutions enable testing labs like DEKRA to validate devices equipped with 5G NR connectivity, in compliance with standards organizations and bodies such as 3GPP, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and ETSI. Keysight's solutions support the broad range of test cases stipulated by the GCF and PTCRB for radio frequency (RF), radio resource management (RRM), and protocol testing.

Select laboratories at DEKRA will utilize Keysight's suite of 5G network emulation solutions to support RF compliance testing of 5G mobile devices in conduction and radiation test environments across the Frequency Range 1 (FR1) and Frequency Range 2 (mmWave). These solutions provide accurate, repeatable, and comprehensive certification and performance testing of wireless devices related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), specific absorption rate (SAR), and specific short-range communications (DSRC).
