The data generated by these assets will be collected by wireless sensors, connected via Telefónica Tech's LTE and 5G mobile networks, and stored and processed using Industrial Edge Computing technology. This data will be accessible through the platform. Using Artificial Intelligence and specific Machine Learning models, the platform will provide operators with guidance on how to improve the health management of production process assets, extending their lifespan.
This will not only optimize maintenance costs but also improve efficiency, opportunity cost, and facility performance. Furthermore, it will contribute to enhanced safety and sustainability, as it will eliminate many of the trips required for unscheduled maintenance.
The solution, designed to integrate other technologies as well, allows companies to manage their production facilities through a single interface. The demo is currently available at the Telefónica District Innovation Center in Madrid.
