Among the new products are the UNITRONIC ACCESS Basic IOL IO-Link master, the UNITRONIC SIGN signaling towers and new connector solutions from the EPIC family.
LAPP will also showcase Asset Administration Shell (AAS) applications and digital twins, along with demonstrations of automation and customized cabling solutions.
UNITRONIC ACCESS Basic IOL for Industrial Communication
One of the main new products will be the UNITRONIC ACCESS Basic IOL series, comprised of IO-Link masters designed to facilitate the connection of sensors and actuators in automation systems. These devices use the IO-Link standard and can be integrated into various industrial Ethernet networks, allowing field devices to be connected to control and monitoring systems. The series incorporates configurable Class A and Class B IO-Link channels, making it easy to adapt to different application requirements.
UNITRONIC SIGN: Signaling Towers with 360-Degree Visibility.
LAPP will also add a new range of industrial signaling towers called UNITRONIC SIGN to its catalog. These devices allow for the direct visualization of the operating status of machines and installations using light signals. Their main feature is the 360-degree status indication, which facilitates the identification of operating conditions from different positions around the equipment. The range includes accessories such as mounting bases and extension tubes to adapt the installation to different machinery configurations. The combination of these signaling towers with IO-Link masters and versions compatible with this standard allows for the integration of status visualization within an industrial communication architecture.

New Industrial Connectors from the EPIC Family:
The company will use SPS 2026 to present several new additions to its EPIC connector family, designed to simplify installation and improve connectivity in industrial environments. These include the EPIC M23S Quickflex, which features an adjustable cable outlet and a quick-locking system.
Meanwhile, the EPIC MH RJ45 expands LAPP's range of modular connectors with a solution that allows combining the transmission of different media within the same connection system.
The range is completed by the EPIC HB 10 AG EMC bulkhead enclosure, designed to provide protection against electromagnetic interference. This component is geared towards demanding industrial applications where electromagnetic compatibility is a critical requirement for the operation of electronic systems.
Asset Management Shell and Digital Twins for Industrial Engineering
Another key aspect of LAPP's participation will be the digital continuity of product information throughout the different phases of engineering, operation, and maintenance. The company will demonstrate how to use Asset Management Shell (AAS) to exchange product and process data between information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) systems. AAS provides a standardized interface that allows for the organization and sharing of technical information in machine-readable formats.
LAPP also links the use of AAS to the development of digital services, product lifecycle management, and future requirements such as the Digital Product Passport.
Motion Cell: Demonstration of Automation and Digital Continuity.
The new Motion Cell will be another highlight of the stand. This installation will allow visitors to observe how energy, data, signals, and motion interact within an automated process. The demonstration is designed to showcase the relationship between the physical components of an installation and the digital information used to design and manage it.
It will also illustrate the role of standardized data, digital twins, and Asset Administration Shell in the integration of engineering processes.
Harnessing Solutions and Custom Wiring for Automation.
In addition to new products, LAPP will dedicate part of its space to ready-to-install connectivity solutions.
Through its Harnessing Solutions offering, the company provides everything from pre-assembled cables and wiring harnesses to complete pre-assembled systems. This range includes cable harnesses, wiring systems, and box-build solutions designed for applications requiring specific integration of electrical and electronic components.
On the other hand, the Special Cable Solutions area will be dedicated to cabling solutions developed for demanding industrial applications. UNIKA, a LAPP specializing in custom-made cables, will also participate in this area.
UNIKA will showcase its capabilities in developing tailored cabling solutions for automation installations and equipment with specific needs.
