A century of passion for technology and innovation. That's precisely what Phoenix Contact is celebrating in 2023. On the one hand, the 100th anniversary of a family business that has become a global technology leader, and on the other, the 25th anniversary of its Spanish subsidiary. With products and solutions for the electrification, interconnection, and automation of all sectors of the economy and infrastructure, Phoenix Contact continues to drive these values, along with its commitment to the sustainable development of our planet's living and economic spaces. Reaching 100 years is a milestone achieved by only 1% of companies, and of those, only another 1% reach a turnover exceeding €1 billion. These achievements have been made possible by a philosophy based on close customer relationships and service, and by a drive to find partners who share their vision of technology, development, and progress. With this in mind, Phoenix Contact celebrated its double anniversary surrounded by its clients in a moving ceremony attended by shareholders and representatives of the Phoenix Contact Group's executive team in Germany, as well as representatives from various Asturian institutions. During the event, the company took the opportunity to thank those present for their contributions over the years, contributions that have undoubtedly been key to Phoenix Contact's current leading position in the market.
In addition to this official celebration, all Phoenix Contact Spain employees enjoyed a day with their families and colleagues. Each employee had the opportunity to showcase their work environment and the company's commitment to the "All Electric Society," a vision of a future where energy from renewable resources is available worldwide in sufficient quantities, cost-effectively, and sustainably. Following a visit to the headquarters in Asturias, the team enjoyed a day of camaraderie, filled with fun activities that delighted everyone, especially the children.
