It divides the industry into different roles: the operator, the integrators (providers of integration and maintenance services), and the manufacturers. Each of these roles follows a risk-based approach to prevent and manage security risks in their activities.

Phoenix Contact is certified in its role as an equipment manufacturer and, in some subsidiaries, also in its role as an integrator.

Since the end of June, Phoenix Contact Spain has been certified according to IEC 62443-2-4, enabling us to offer our clients higher-quality, more reliable cybersecurity services to operators during the integration and maintenance of automation solutions. The Spanish subsidiary of Phoenix Contact is thus the only industrial manufacturer in Spain with this local certification.
