Keysight's Automotive Industry Cybersecurity Program consists of integrated hardware, software, and services necessary for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to ensure the security of their vehicles, address the scale and complexity of constantly changing technology, facilitate time to market, and supplement internal cybersecurity activities within OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Keysight recognizes that cybersecurity needs must be integrated into product development from the outset, throughout the entire development lifecycle, and into post-sales support.
To address this need, Keysight offers a comprehensive solution that includes the following key elements:
- Hardware that connects to the device under test (DUT) via all relevant interfaces, such as Wi-Fi, cellular, Bluetooth, USB, CAN, and automotive Ethernet
- Software that simulates attacks, reports vulnerabilities (and their severity), and offers recommended enhancements
- Device-specific regression testing that simplifies and accelerates the verification of enhancements
- Enterprise-level test management, including seamless integration with widely used enterprise platforms from OEMs and Tier 1 providers

To ensure proactive prevention, Keysight also offers a subscription service to a constantly evolving threat database. This subscription provides frequent updates with the latest security attacks, evasion tactics, and examples of existing malware. This service also includes frequent application protocol releases, in addition to ongoing software updates and enhancements.

Keysight's Automotive Cybersecurity Program enables car manufacturers and their suppliers to:
- Implement and enforce security standards across the enterprise
- Establish an enterprise-wide testing procedure that supports
supplier auditing and certification
- Achieve repeatability through rigorous regression testing and
documented results and workflows
- Identify potential vulnerabilities from the physical layer to the application layer,
including wired and wireless connections
- Validate and rapidly deploy software enhancements
- Stay ahead of hackers by proactively assessing security risks before
an attack.
"In today's vehicles, over-reliance on connectivity and software enhances convenience but increases the potential attack surface for emerging and evolving cyber threats," said Siegfried Gross, Vice President and General Manager of Energy and Automotive Solutions at Keysight. "This new program enables OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to improve the security of their vehicles by defining, implementing, and deploying a consistent, enterprise-level approach to testing for potential vulnerabilities."
