Ripley Tools has announced the merger of its ODM® and Miller® brands. Following its acquisition of Optical Design Manufacturing Inc. in 2017, Ripley Tools expanded its product offerings to include fiber optic testing equipment under the ODM® brand. With the ODM® RP 560 Optical Power Meter and the ODM® VIS 500 Fiber Inspection Scope, the ODM® brand quickly became a favorite for optical testing and inspection equipment. For decades, Ripley Tools has partnered with cable manufacturers and professional installers to design and manufacture some of the industry's most reliable tools under the Miller® brand. With the merger of the ODM® brand and the integration of the two product lines, Ripley Tools expects to establish a stronger global brand presence in the market. The new brand's tools will feature Miller®'s iconic yellow color, found in the toolkits of installers and technicians worldwide, while retaining the advanced software and technical support of ODM®.
All new ODM® products will now be launched under the Miller® brand in 2021, and existing products will transition over the next nine months.
