With this accreditation, it is possible to issue certificates of conformity from Spain for all levels and categories of ICT products within the EUCC framework, including the technical domains of smart cards and similar devices, as well as hardware devices with security boxes. This further strengthens the European certification ecosystem under the Cybersecurity Act.
The EUCC scheme was created to raise the level of cybersecurity of ICT products in the EU market. Specifically, it allows suppliers of security products, such as smart cards, network devices and systems, user access control or key management systems, and many other products, to demonstrate their security by undergoing a common assessment process across the EU.
The active participation of ENAC and CCN in the development and deployment of the EUCC reflects Spain's commitment to creating a robust digital trust framework for the certification of its products at the various levels of the scheme.
