Designed for CIOs, CTOs, and data center and facilities managers, the roadshow will visit five cities in Spain and Portugal, starting on May 17 in Bilbao and ending on June 20 in Lisbon. Each day will feature presentations by Schneider Electric experts, who will showcase the solutions needed to adapt to the new market reality, as well as presentations by professionals from IDC, who will present the Market Trends Edge study for the Iberian Peninsula, Europe, and the world, and by HPE, who will deliver a presentation on Edge IT and Hybrid IT: optimizing the data center.
The event will also feature a marketplace where attendees can view and test the most innovative solutions and products from Schneider Electric and HPE for Local Edge.
As María de Lurdes Carvalho, VP of Data Center & Industrial at Schneider Electric, explains, “The increasing reliance on cloud-based applications is forcing companies to rethink the level of redundancy in the physical infrastructure equipment (power, cooling, and networks) that remains on-site, at the ‘edge.’ With these workshops, Schneider Electric will outline current challenges and solutions, including, for example, a Micro Data Center infrastructure that reduces costs, improves agility, and ensures service continuity.”
