Users are more demanding in terms of network performance and are looking for new qualities and greater advantages such as speed, reliability, and security.”.

The report also indicates that the number of new internet connections has tripled in the last year. From January to the present, more than 34,000 new fiber optic lines have been installed, capable of providing speeds of up to 100 Mbps and higher. “Every day, the volume of information and data that both companies and users need to transmit instantly increases. Fiber optics meets these needs and offers qualities and performance that are difficult for more traditional connections like ADSL to match,” adds José María Marín, CEO of Fibernet.
