Specifically, Eurona will transmit RTVE's channels, TVE Internacional, Canal 24 Horas, and six Radio Nacional de España channels to Europe and parts of the Middle East. In the case of Aragonese television, Eurona will handle the SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) transmission of the Televisión de Aragón channel to terrestrial digital terrestrial television (DTT) transmitters for broadcast to homes in Aragon.
In the case of RTVE's channels, transmission will be carried out via the Astra 1M satellite of the SES Astra group, a satellite operator specializing in news, leisure, and entertainment services. SES Astra's fleet allows a total of 7,100 television channels to reach 312 million homes worldwide. To carry out the broadcast, RTVE delivers the channels to Eurona, which is responsible for transmitting them to the SES teleport in Luxembourg, from where the signal is uplinked to the satellite.
In the case of Aragonese public television, Quantis carries the signal from Zaragoza to the Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales teleport, located in Ciudad de la Imagen (Pozuelo, Madrid), from where the programs are uploaded to Avanti's Hylas 1 satellite. Eurona recently finalized an agreement with this British operator to offer satellite internet in Spain and Portugal, thus diversifying the use of satellite signals for various activities that impact citizens' daily lives.

The satellite internet sector has been gaining momentum in recent years. Despite the rise of fiber optics, there are regions where satellite is poised to prevail over other technologies, particularly in Africa and other developing regions, due to its lower cost and ease of deployment compared to fiber.
