Thus, at a purely professional trade fair like ANGA Cable, visitors to the Televés stand showed great interest in equipment designed to address one of the challenges German installers will soon face: the cessation of analog broadcasts from Astra. In this regard, the new T.0X distribution headends, capable of distributing any of the currently available modulation standards, attracted considerable attention. These units incorporate innovative features that simplify the work of professional installers and offer maximum efficiency in terms of energy consumption per distributed service.

“The analog switch-off of Astra is receiving increasing attention from German installers, who have shown great interest in our T.0X headends and also in a piece of equipment that is a great help to professionals in their work. I am referring to the H-45 portable field strength meter,” said Stephan Bunz, sales director of Televés' subsidiary in Germany.

Bunz also highlighted the positive reception given to the new QSD line of satellite dishes by participants at ANGA Cable 2011. This new line of high-quality aluminum satellite dishes is designed for receiving satellite signals. Specifically designed for ease of installation, its target market is clearly Germany, both due to the significant role satellite reception plays in the country and its high resistance to harsh weather conditions, thanks to a meticulous hot-dip galvanizing process applied to its stainless steel components and accessories. “It was a great move by Televés to present a product that meets the TÜV certifications, which are essential for this market,” Bunz noted.
