The selected projects will participate in this program for four months with the aim of fostering entrepreneurship in the 5G technology sector. They will have access to The Thinx 5G Barcelona lab. In addition, they will receive training in areas such as finance, sales, marketing, and investment, as well as expert mentoring, access to investors, training, networking opportunities, and increased visibility within the 5G ecosystem.

The startups selected for this year's '5G ScaleUp Program' are:
• Flash Park: Since 2020, this startup has been developing an app to find parking spaces in major cities using a network of sensors powered by renewable energy.
• Ebre Drone, founded in 2019, specializes in data collection in the industrial and agricultural sectors using drones. They are leaders in agricultural field spraying and pioneers in industrial preventative maintenance, especially in the energy sector (wind, solar, electrical grid, etc.).
• Hop Ubiquitous, created in 2013, is a solution for sustainable urban design that supports cities in combating climate change through decision support, responsible investment, and action plans based on IoT and AI.
• Liip entered the eHealth field in 2015 with wearable devices (IoT) and innovative, user-friendly software services that provide peace of mind, knowledge, and preventative care regarding people's health and well-being.
Among the criteria used to select the projects were market potential and the scalability of the solution. These same criteria were used last year when the startups participating in the program's first edition were Mcsystems, Oliver, and Lamarclabs.
