Once this second expansion is completed at the end of the year, 3 additional extensions are planned, 2 of 15 MW and one of 7 MW, which will turn the Alcalá campus into the largest complex in the country, with 26,000 m2 in 28 IT rooms.

However, the data center will not only be one of the largest in terms of capacity on the continent, but also one of the most technologically advanced: the first phase of the complex is the only one in the country that has Tier IV certification in design and construction, as well as Tier IV Gold certification for Sustainable Operation.

Furthermore, top-tier partners have been selected to ensure the data center is as energy efficient as possible. Through state-of-the-art hardware and remote equipment management software, the company guarantees energy availability and continuity of supply, as well as maximum energy savings.

In the words of Emilio Díaz, CEO of Nabiax, “We are pleased to continue progressing towards being the leading benchmark in the sector, but also to complete the expansion of one of the most advanced centers in all of Europe, thus reinforcing Spain's role as a true digital hub of international renown. At Nabiax, we will continue working to support the digitalization of the country and the projects of the most ambitious and innovative companies in our market, committed to sustainable and efficient growth.”
