Rakuten Mobile, a group of companies belonging to Rakuten, Inc., a global leader in internet services, is currently building a fully virtualized, cloud-native mobile network ready for 5G. Rakuten Mobile selected Keysight's 5G solutions to improve the efficiency of its validation and testing processes, which are critical to delivering high-performance end-user experiences that align with market timelines.

Keysight's suite of 5G network and channel emulation solutions, including the recently launched 5G Device Benchmarking Toolkit, will enable Rakuten Mobile to efficiently validate 5G devices and network infrastructure in end-to-end and over-the-air (OTA) test environments. Keysight's suite provides access to a comprehensive set of test cases validated by the Global Certification Forum (GCF). This allows Rakuten Mobile to accelerate the adoption of radio frequency (RF) devices and protocols according to the 3GPP 5G New Radio (NR) standard.
