Equipped with Intel UHD graphics, it can handle 4K UHD content. It supports two displays via HDMI and VGA. It can also support 8K displays via DisplayPort (optional). All of this at a flicker-free 60Hz. It comes in a robust metal casing in a convenient mini PC form factor (200 x 185 x 35.5 mm).
It features a total of nine USB ports, distributed across the front and back. The mini PC also includes a convenient SIM card slot, making it independent of LAN or WLAN networks by allowing the use of an LTE card.
With two LAN (RJ45) connections, the PC can be used as a peripheral device, for example, as a network bridge or for secure, independent control of a machine network in the industrial sector. The operating system is either Windows 10/11 or Linux Ubuntu.
Because the interfaces are located on the front and rear of the casing, the BQ612 is also suitable for use in hard-to-reach places, such as on a column or installed behind screens.
A special feature of the BQ612 is the warning message it sends when the PC lid is opened. There's no alarm or other annoying noise, but the computer logs this in the BIOS and alerts the user the next time it starts up, or reports the alert to a network management system. This ensures that the PC hasn't been opened without authorization.
The new Giada BQ612 PC is now available at a list price of €250 (unassembled). Attractive terms and service level agreements are available for distributors, digital signage system integrators, and AV system providers. Concept's standard service includes a two-year warranty (five-year warranty optional) and the Total Readiness Service.
Concept International supports the implementation of projects at the customer's request and offers specific configurations for each project, as well as a durability test of the device, even in large quantities.
