Features:
- Next-generation quad/dual-core Intel Core i7 processor
- Up to 16GB DDR3-1333 ECC SDRAM
- Allows monitoring of temperature and other parameters via IPMI
- DisplayPort, VGA, DVI, and HDMI graphics interfaces
- Supports operation as a system or peripheral.
The new generation quad/dual-core Intel Core i7 processors combined with ECC technology make the 3U cPCI-3970 series CPU a highly powerful and reliable card.
ECC technology ensures data integrity and keeps memory immune to errors, making the cPCI-3970 suitable for critical applications where errors are unacceptable, such as those related to research, aerospace, and rail equipment.
All cards in the cPCI-3970 series feature a DisplayPort digital display interface. DisplayPort is a new VESA standard that supports next-generation display technologies as a replacement for existing display technologies (DVI, LVDS, VGA), while remaining fully compatible with current technologies.
The advantages of DisplayPort include the integration of high-resolution monitors, and even multiple monitors, through a single cable; audio signal transmission (similar to HDMI); support for Full HD 3D stereo at 120Hz; and support for HDMI, DVI, and VGA via a simple adapter.
