The new Promax-12 maintains the ergonomic design that has proven so successful with its users. Despite its small size, it incorporates a higher-resolution and faster display for easier viewing of the spectrum, measurements, and constellation. Its simple keypad allows for easy measurements, even for installers or operators with limited experience. The fact that measurements are displayed in both numerical and bar graph formats is a helpful feature.
In addition to basic measurements for QAM digital CATV installations, such as power, C/N, BER, MER, and constellation, it now includes broadband power detection from 5 MHz to 1 Gbps and power measurement by integration for greater accuracy. It also features SCAN, TILT, a datalogger, transient detection, and maximum and minimum value recording.
The device is compatible with all standards (Annex A/B/C). And of course, the measurements can be exported to a computer or printer.
It should be noted that the most requested CATV measurements for analog signals have been added, as used by operators who maintain their networks in this format. These include C/N, CSO and CTB intermodulation, VAC voltage, and HUM.
