Nebula devotees will notice the focal point of the update: a pleasing dashboard for the Nebula Control Center. The new ivory background aligns with the existing Nebula app aesthetic, achieving a consistent look and feel across all devices. It
also introduces a dark mode for the entire Nebula interface. This will make it easier on the eyes, providing a more comfortable user experience in environments where screen light can cause excessive eye strain. Users will be able to switch between light and dark themes with a single click.

The next-generation control panel enhances usability by allowing virtually unlimited customization. It lets you configure card-style widgets and displays all available Wi-Fi and gateway functions. With numerous other front-end improvements, Nebula delivers better overall performance and an unparalleled user experience.

smart, simple, and secure network connectivity,
along with key new features guaranteed to improve cloud management and save time. The setup wizard now supports gateway configurations, ensuring a quick, complete, and easy network setup. Nebula's intelligent engine further simplifies the correlation of settings and events across the network. If a user wants to create a VLAN with a guest SSID, Nebula will guide them through configuring the VLAN interface of the access portal. Additionally, when the PoE shutdown feature is enabled on a switch to conserve power, Nebula will know not to report an offline access point event for all APs connected to that switch.

The range of Nebula-compatible devices has been expanded to include the powerful WAX650S, NWA110AX, and WAX510D access points. All feature WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and enhanced security, including MAC filtering for each SSID, the latest WPA3 WiFi standard, and dynamic VLAN assignment. This last feature is ideal for school or large enterprise networks, as it can separate users into multiple VLANs, isolating them for greater security and simplifying management.switch-zyxel-XS3800-28-w

This release also welcomes the XS3800-28 switch to the cloud family. It's a full-featured 10G aggregation switch that can serve as the core of a Nebula network. With the added convenience of cloud management, the switch is fully prepared to deliver maximum power and performance. For smaller networks, a 10G switch with fewer ports is planned for release in the coming months.
“More and more vendors have entered the cloud network management market, recognizing its business potential. However, they only offer limited features and offerings,” explains Crowley Wu, Vice President of Zyxel’s Networking SBU. “As a leader in complete cloud network management solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, Zyxel is taking a big step forward with the new interface in the latest Nebula release. This new interface enhances management so that all users can now get the most out of the Nebula experience.”
