The NK-2.4Y incorporates FHSS without requiring channel selection, making it suitable for reliable operation in challenging RF environments and in close proximity to other 2.4 GHz W-LAN and/or Bluetooth devices. With CRC-16 error detection and a Hamming distance of 6, the user doesn't need to worry about unwanted operation caused by communication errors. This enables continuous communication of switched signals in a highly secure environment without concern for RF conditions.

telecom-24-2-wThe NK-2.4Y has a measured current consumption of only 3 mA in transmit mode (input mode), making it ideal for use with portable devices. A receive return can be provided using the LINK output pin for continuous link monitoring.

The NK-2.4Y requires a minimum of components for the interface and the integrated antenna option allows existing systems to be configured to transmit wireless signals easily.
