This software enables authorized testing centers to test 10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen2 SuperSpeed Plus devices with Type-C implementations and provides test and performance validation engineers at these centers with the necessary tools to ensure that such devices meet the USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C specification. Keysight's USB 3.1 solution delivers accurate test results to reduce development costs and simplify measurement processes in the consumer electronics, cable manufacturing, and semiconductor industries.
The test software works with Keysight Infiniium V-Series and Z-Series real-time oscilloscopes with bandwidths of 16 GHz and higher. Engineers can access test signals using the N7015A Type-C high-speed test attachment and control them with the N7016A Type-C low-speed signal access and control attachment.
“Keysight actively supports USB-IF and USB implementers by providing rapid access to measurement solutions and supporting certification workshops,” said Dave Cipriani, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s Oscilloscope Division. “With the implementation of Gen2 and Type-C link partner requirements, Keysight offers the essential software tools for the USB-IF testing and certification program to ensure a successful user interoperability experience.”
Engineers can use this solution with USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) approved fixings or Keysight's N7015A and N7016A Type-C test fixings.
