The fourth generation of WaveSurfer-B LeCroy oscilloscopes, with bandwidths between 200 MHz and 1 GHz, incorporates improved performance thanks to its powerful processor, 10.4-inch touchscreen interface, five USB ports, a sampling rate of up to 10 GS/s, and a memory of up to 25 Mpts. These, combined with a set of new functions and features, make the WaveSurfer B Series the leading oscilloscope in its class.

The improved WaveSurfer incorporates new features such as Sequential Mode, which allows the user to segment the oscilloscope's memory with combined acquisitions of up to 10,000 segments, optimizing memory usage more cost-effectively by only capturing data when it is presented and eliminating response downtime; the WaveScan function, which reduces the time it takes to detect problems that are difficult to find with a trigger and facilitates their detection by continuously scanning acquisitions or searching for common problems such as "runts" or "glitches"; the WaveStream function, which facilitates the measurement of jitter and other anomalies; and the LabNotebook function, which allows image capture, saving waveforms, and customizing reports with your own annotations directly on the screen, and even attaching a logo so that once finished, the report can be sent directly by email from the oscilloscope via the Ethernet connection or saved in .doc, pdf, or HTML format.

The new WaveSurfer B Series also introduces the analysis and decoding of I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, USB, FlexRay, Audio buses…and the integration of Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (MSO) thanks to the WaveSurfer MXs-B with 4 analog channels and 18 digital channels covering analog bandwidths up to 1 GHz and digital bandwidths up to 250 MHz and with sampling rates of 1 GS/s that enable high-speed capture of digital signals.
