wireless-temperature-meter-wTemperature measurement plays an important role in many sectors of the process industry, water supply, wastewater treatment and metallurgy, as well as in solar, wind and biogas plants.

The PT100 sensors can be connected to the inputs using two or three wires. Their high resistance to interference allows for an accuracy of ±0.1% of the measurement range limit. The modules also feature high-quality galvanic isolation between channels and easy replacement during service.

The new Radioline wireless system from Phoenix Contact has been specifically designed for communication with remote participants in large systems. Its key feature is I/O mapping, which allows for easy signal distribution within the system without software. Input signals are assigned I/O MAP addresses via a rotary selector, and these addresses are then recorded in the corresponding output modules. Since identical signals can be transmitted multiple times, intelligent distribution and signal amplification are possible within the field system.

The PT100 input signals can also be mapped to the corresponding RAD-AO4-IFS analog module or transmitted directly to the controller wirelessly via the Modbus protocol. Each Radioline station can be expanded modularly up to a maximum of 32 modules.
