NeoCortec's ultra-low-power, fully scalable wireless mesh networking protocol is available for both the 2.4 GHz and sub-1 GHz frequency bands in a range of pre-approved modules manufactured by NeoCortec. These modules are ideal for a wide range of applications, are cost-effective, and easy to integrate into the target product. The modules share the same footprint, meaning there's no need to change the target product to support the entire range of frequency bands. For more information, click here.
At Embedded World 2025, NeoCortec, together with its Italian wireless module partner Embit, launched a dual-band (subGHz/2.4 GHz) integrated NeoMesh wireless network module with LoRa and a LoRaWAN® stack. Following the initial demonstration at electronica 2024 of the ability to form a NeoMesh wireless network using LoRa modulation in a 2.4 GHz wireless network module, this new dual-band module enables the use of the new technology in many more applications and offers greater flexibility to customers. The combination of NeoMesh's simple, massive scalability and low power consumption with Semtech's proven ability of LoRa modulation to perform well over very long ranges in noisy environments—for example, in buildings with significant additional radio noise from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth—significantly enhances the value proposition of these two leading wireless technologies. NeoCortec also offers customers the option to license its wireless mesh network protocol and NeoMesh software stack. With this licensing model, customers can implement the NeoMesh software in their designs to leverage its advantages for their specific applications. NeoCortec provides comprehensive technical support to assist customers with software implementation. The wireless mesh network protocol and NeoMesh software stack are compatible with many different types of sensors and applications, as well as a wide range of chipsets, including those from Texas Instruments, Nordic Semiconductor, Silicon Labs, STMicroelectronics, and Semtech. Last but not least, three NeoMesh Click boards (operating at 868 MHz, 915 MHz, and 2.4 GHz) are available through MikroE to accelerate the development of ultra-low-power, highly scalable, cloud-based sensor and IoT networks. The Click boards eliminate the need for engineers to build their own development PCB hardware, enabling them to quickly and cost-effectively initiate proof-of-concept testing of the NeoMesh network protocol in a real-world application. A wide range of applications can be addressed, including smart buildings and workplaces, metering, security, agriculture, transportation, Industry 4.0, healthcare, and food distribution.
