Deco X60 allows you to connect up to 150 devices without diminishing its performance.

The Deco X60 implements BSS Coloring technology, which detects neighboring networks to prevent speed loss and minimize Wi-Fi interference. Additionally, Beamforming technology detects the location of your connected devices and focuses the signal strength towards them to optimize wireless connections.

Thanks to WPA3 encryption and TP-Link HomeCare™, the Deco X60 is one of the most secure mesh Wi-Fi devices on the market, ensuring a safe home network for the whole family.
With WPA3 encryption, the Deco X60 protects against weak passwords that can be cracked relatively easily. This eliminates the need to worry about passwords that aren't complex enough, as was the case with WPA2 devices. Furthermore, TP-Link HomeCare™ technology includes antivirus, parental controls, and QoS, helping to protect private data and IoT devices from digital intruders.

In a Wi-Fi Mesh network, multiple network nodes work together to form a single network that shares the same Wi-Fi settings. These settings include the network name, password, and control configuration. Compared to a traditional network, a Wi-Fi Mesh network uses multiple network nodes to cover every corner of your home.

Wi-Fi 6 (also known as the 802.11ax standard) is the latest Wi-Fi technology standard, an improvement over Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Its main advantages include:
• Faster speeds: Wi-Fi 6 transmission speeds have been increased to 1.2 Gbps, 20% faster than a Gigabit Ethernet connection. In terms of its theoretical maximum speed, Wi-Fi 6 achieves 9.6 Gbps (a significant increase compared to Wi-Fi 5's 6.9 Gbps).
• Smoother connections for more devices: Wi-Fi 6 can divide a channel into smaller resource units and transmit data from multiple clients according to bandwidth needs. This is particularly beneficial for small-packet applications, especially gaming and streaming, by reducing latency and improving speed. Wi-Fi 6 allows up to 8 simultaneous transmissions for different devices, enabling the router to communicate with more devices at once, improving overall network efficiency.
• Advanced security protection: Wi-Fi 6 supports WPA3, the latest Wi-Fi security protocol built upon WPA2, which generates a new password with each data transmission.
• Seamless roaming: Mesh devices share the same wireless network name and password and are compatible with IEEE 802.11k/v to ensure a seamless roaming experience. Your smartphone or tablet automatically connects to the fastest Mesh device as you move around your home, without you even noticing. • Speed and reliability: By functioning as a unified Wi-Fi system, a mesh network dynamically chooses the network node and band with the strongest signal for your data, ensuring a fast connection no matter where you are in your home. If one mesh device experiences a problem, the system will automatically reroute data through the other devices to ensure it remains online at all times.
Easy setup and centralized management: Simply set up a mesh router and add other mesh devices (nodes). These devices will automatically copy the Wi-Fi settings, including the network name, password, access control settings, and more.
