Four different locking options offer enhanced security, convenient access control, and excellent flexibility in managing multiple key codes. These options include standard Southco® shutter cylinders, with or without padlock hasps, DIN 18254 cylinders, and two industry-standard access tools with padlock hasps. This versatility in locking allows users to adjust lock codes with other Southco® cylinders used throughout the installation for the convenience of using a single key.
Designed for a sleek aesthetic and improved ergonomics, the CR latch handle is partially integrated into the door panel, minimizing the protruding surface (only 12 mm). When the handle is released, its comfortable grip provides the best method for controlled release of the compression center. Thanks to the lock's release by rotating the pivoting handle clockwise or counterclockwise, it is ideal for airtight installations on both left- and right-handed doors.
The central locking body fits exterior door panels between 1.5 mm and 3 mm thick and can be installed on double doors. Individually available multi-point locking rods allow the main locking mechanism to be installed offset or centered on doors up to 2 meters high.
A wide selection of pawls and multi-point locking rods accommodates a broad range of cabinet designs and dimensions, while adjustment options allow the locking system to be properly tailored to the dimensional and insulation requirements of each cabinet. The pawl adjustment dimensions (distance between the door panel face and the pawl engagement point) range from 6.5 mm to 112 mm. Each of the eleven ratchet options allows for 5.5 mm of adjustment.
While this multi-point locking system is easy to install with standard wrenches, its robust construction and heavy-duty operation allow it to withstand frequent use in demanding outdoor environments, with a maximum static load of 250 N and an average breaking load of 580 N. Furthermore, it meets Southco's Level 3 vandal resistance specification, preventing access with heavy-duty tool sets (hammer, chisel, screwdriver, pry bar, etc.) for five minutes.
